Mosley wins another Defensive Rookie of the Month award
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...s-top-rookies/
I'll be pretty ticked off if he loses Defensive Rookie of the Year to a guy who didn't even win a Rookie of the Month award (Donald or Mack).

Re: Mosley wins another Defensive Rookie of the Month award
Ditto but I don't think there's anyone close to him for rookie of the year. He
already made the pro bowl as rookie - the only Raven to do so. Not even
Ray did this.
This is just another award in a long list for the rookie. He's definitely a Ray Lewis
clone already but could he be even better barring injuries? He moves from
side line to side line just like Ray and knows where the plays are going in advance.
And to think I didn't want him but I'm still holding my breath on the injuries.

DROY has to be a lock now.

Re: Mosley wins another Defensive Rookie of the Month award
The PFF numbers for Donald and Mack are a lot better than Mosley, so I'm seeing a lot of sportswriters advocating for those guys over Mosley. But I don't see how you can deny a guy who won 2 of 4 defensive rookie of the month awards, and all the crazy numbers he's put up and how hes played almost every snap as the leader of the defense as a rookie.

I don't see how Mosley doesn't win DROY. He has to.

I was reading this article earlier... it gives the details. This guy has Donald winning RotY.
Mosley: +11.3 PFF
Donald: +34.4 PFF
Mack: +55.3 PFF

And SI did a vote, and Mosley finished 3rd. They didn't even bother to mention him in the couple paragraphs about the vote... Its starting to get me worried, since I assumed he was a lock all year.Last edited by AlbionHero; 12-31-2014 at 06:47 PM.

Re: Mosley wins another Defensive Rookie of the Month award
The almighty Florio chose Aaron Donald as the DROY. Mosley deserves it more, but don't tell that to King Mike.

Re: Mosley wins another Defensive Rookie of the Month award
Here's another site that dropped Mosley to 3rd but he has these awards and made
the pro bowl which Mack didn't even though he has 4 sacks - 1 more than Mosley and
59 solo tackles to 87 solo jobs for CJ.
CJ clearly has the numbers and awards over Mack and awards over Donald.

Donald has 9 sacks and 2 ff and 37 solo tackles. CJ has 3 sacks and 2 ff and 87 solo jobs.

The reason Mosley dropped below 10th spot is because teams feared he was so
physical he would be on the IR sooner than later. Now they fear him for a
different reason.

Re: Mosley wins another Defensive Rookie of the Month award
If I thought I was a lock for DROY and got snubbed, it would just add to the fire to get even better. I don't doubt CJ has any motivational issues for greatness, but even perceived slight cranks it up just a bit more.
