Flacco 8th overall in ESPN Total QBR

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr

Interesting Flacco is ahead of Ryan, Rivers, Luck, Kaepernick, Dalton, Stafford, Cutler.

Sometimes these stats jump the shark.

His QBR is being inflated by his super high penalty EPA.

Don't get me wrong, PIs have benefitted us, but to assign estimated value to it...eh.

I'd rather see rankings that incorporate strength of OL and supporting cast, and which account for YAC.

All the "experts" swear by QBR, so I just want them to accept that Flacco is close to being top 5 by their own metrics.

If you go by passer rating he's around 15 last I looked. Anyone notice that Geno Smith had a perfect passer rating yesterday? First QB to do so this year. Geno Smith...

I get it. Just expressing my skepticism regarding these stats, even when they are positive.

I want to see the stat that adjusts for having Calvin, Dez, etc.

Really have no idea. But if you gave me 32 guesses on who had the first perfect passer rating, I still wouldn't guess Geno Smith...

Can anyone pull Flacco's PFF stats? Curious to see their adjusted qb rating and accuracy.

Meh. It was a crap statistic, (or a craptastic stat) before and still is. Maybe now they'll be prompted to retool it since it's primary purpose (to discredit Flacco) has failed.

It measures a system more than the QB imo.
