Re: OT: Panthers at Falcons
Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers...both playing in elimination games... 0 TDs, 4 Int's, 10 combined offensive points.
Just remember this for future reference.

Re: OT: Panthers at Falcons
I walked in the room yesterday while my son was watching that game at the time I heard the announceer, (simms maybe?) call Ryan an, and he used the word, "elite", QB, who just doesn't have the weapons. WTF! I almost threw up in my mouth 'cause not a damn soul has ever given Joe a break for his documented lack of weapons thru out his careeer. I thought elite was earned, but they wont let it go. The slobber knocking was as inaccurate as it was unbearable.

Re: OT: Panthers at Falcons
Yeah, he said he just needs some help.
The media latched onto Ryan as the next great NFL QB. He plays in a decent media market and had some early success they really wanted him to be the next great NFL star. And because they pumped him up as such it has been hard to kill the fallacy. Kind of reminds me of Carson Palmer his last few years in Cinci. The media tried to keep pushing him as an elite QB long past the time that he deserved it.

Matty ice , his glory days are behind him. Joe Flacco, still winning with mediocre receivers.
