And not a WR but TE Maxx Williams is declaring. Given Kubiak's reliance on his TE's, you'd think the Ravens should look hard at him in rounds 2-3.
Absolutely...I was just responding to the thought he'd be there for our second round pick.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Agreed. And where we might be picking. Like ursula said. If Beasley and Calhoun and any other of the best OLB are off the board. Along with waynes as hell likely be gone. I take strong here. Unless they like Hardy better. I dunno. And than in the 2nd take the best available 4-3 end or olb. I wouldnt complain at all. Still i think the 3rd is where we get our starting RB from.

Stefon Diggs looked good last night against Stanford.

    10 for 138 yards.

Justin Hardy made some money vs Florida yesterday.

He has a quick first step, good vision and good kinetics...makes him pretty fast for the first 3-5 steps after the catch.
I'm still trying to dissect if he has the physical detail to become a good route runner if he works at it.

Yeah I like Hardy also. Doubt he would last till our 2nd. So it's gonna be him White and Strong. Who's still available when we pick. But if multiple are how do you rank them?

If he can stay healthy and winds up on the right team, I think he can have an Antonio Brown type impact. Has to stay healthy though. He has an incredible love and passion for the game that you can see when you watch him...I think he's a coaches dream.

I really like Strong...he reminds me so much of a young Boldin, slow, but physically imposing and terrific at making contested catches. He's not going to get a ton of separation like Q, but he's going to make catches in his area...only thing I really question about him is that he doesn't break as many tackles out there as you'd expect a guy his size to do against smaller DB's.

I think White will have a good NFL career...I just don't know how much I'd be in favor of drafting him in round 1...just a gut feeling lol.

Yeah I have that feeling also. BUT likely he goes before we pick anyway. He's ranked 3rd. Really I'm thinking more and more Strong is the guy. Love for the game. Can high point t he ball. And will fight for it. Really is that #1 we need. Really need someone else that can take the top off the D so he can do the dirty work but I think Joe would love him.

The only other guy I'm thinking is DGB. I know everyone is down on him but I'm sorry. You can't overlook that ability. If he's still there when we draft we BETTER take him. He has AJ Green even Megatron like ability. Just gotta keep his off the field stuff under control. Lock him in Harbaugh basement except for practice and game day I dunno. Or hand him to Suggs. Move him into your guest room and control him. I dunno. Some thing.

Alshon Jeffrey. Mike Evans. Those were the previous guys I wanted before DGB. And both went before we could draft them. DGB might fall because of his antics.

If he declares...watch out for Maxx Williams at TE...Dennis Pitta clone.

Thought he already said he was staying in school? Just remember it because of the 2 x in his name.
