Slighty OT - Former Ravens cheerleader charged with sex with a minor

I remember being 15 years old. If you had asked me then to raise my hand for sex with ANY cheerleader, much less a NFL cheerleader, I'd have thrown my shoulder out of socket that thing would've shot up so quick.

Now that I'm 38, I know that what she did was wrong not even considering the statutory rape aspect of the situation. A 47 year old having sex with a teenager is messed up, regardless of law.

The thing about this topic I find so interesting is how we all agree that a 47 year old man sleeping with a 15 year old girl is a disgusting pervert. Yet since it's a 47 year old woman having sex with a 15 year old boy, there's a 50/50 split. Even the people who are saying it's disgusting don't have the anger one would expect if the genders were reversed. Looking back at the Ray Rice thread, there's a lot of spite directed at Rice for what he did. Here we have another crime, but the animosity is focused more on posters who have a different opinion.

I would argue that's because society views males as more sexually aggressive. Which we are.

Not realizing who she was my first thought was that this type of thing happens quite a bit. I was assuming the cheerleader was in her 20's or something.

However, seeing that she is damn near 50? That's just REALLY over the top strange. What 50 year old woman wants to knock boots with a 15 year old? That just leads me to believe there is something definitely wrong with her mentally.
