You better see posts #33 and 34 before going to GMs.

CCs that are too big have too much stuffing in them. Not as much crab meat.

I said pretty good and close to him. I have had them and they are good, IMO.

These are opinions and like a--holes everybody has their own.

Must be the full moon tonight, I'm sensing that some people are on edge today. G & M crabcakes suck compared to edgewater Inn, but that place is in southern Anne Arundel county.

My group is at Hamburg Street at Indusco Industries. Look for the purple van. We get there by 10 am.

Opinions with facts like making them bigger compromises the taste with bread or cracker stuffings like at GMs. Like I said, I pulled a slice of bread out of my CC the last time at GM. That's a fact.

Box Hill Pizzeria advertises and had no stuffings.

Maybe some people like the stuffing.

People have different tastes, it's okay.

Now that's a thought but you're getting the taste of the cracker not the crab meat and seasoning.

I forgot to say, wherever you go make sure you sprinkle some OLD BAY on the CC a Baltimore tradition. It's a home grown spice people use around here. Some of us use it on everything. Love it on egg omlets.

Re: First visit to the M&T Bank

Had one tonight as a matter of fact with onion, green peppers and sausage mixed in. I've been really sick with bronchitis so made me self a nice omlette topped off with OLD BAY. I take it to Florida when I travel. Their sea food is so bland but I have plenty of OLD BAY.

Most crab cakes have some stuffings. You need it to hold the cc together but the trick is to use as little as possible so not to lose the cc taste. My mom made the best but just used a little bit of crackers she crumbled into fine pieced and mixed them in the bowl with the crab meat. You never tasted them.

I see to no no's for GMs above. We used to go all the way thru the tunnel to go there for years but didn't know about Box Hill. It was a pizza joint. Who would have thought of CCs there until we were told. After getting some bad ones at GMs we went to BH. The owner told me sthe story about GM being the cook for his dad before starting his own restaurant down there.
