LOL - AND Tim Tebow was bad for NFL?
Talk about political correctness sinking to a new depth. Here's a guy run out of the NFL after a media blitz because he was a Christian. They didn't like to see him praying on the side line. They even mocked him in the broadcast booth and mimicked his praying. They'll pay for it one day.
All Tebow wants to do is play QB. That's all but the liberal media ran him off as well
as some coaches who said he couldn't play QB even though he beat the Squeelers
splitting their secondary for a playoff win plus all those other come from behind wins
during his Cinderalla season.
Yet, he's on the outside looking in at the new wave of domestic violence and star
players beating their kids. Heck, AD's kid had welts all over his body. Did you see
the pics?
Tebow was a saint, a model citizen but was run off, just like Christ was crucified for
doing nothing wrong.
The age of political correctness has sunk to a new low. All this is Rush's take on the
situation and he used to blast Christians on the show but has mellowed out somewhat,
maybe because his brother is a Christian and wrote a book called Persecution and Tebow
fits that book although it was written before his time telling stories of a librarian who
was fired for wearing a neckless with a cross on it after someone complained.

I don't ever recall Rush blasting Christians.

Oh yea, back in the old days. Even his wife, Marla, got on him about it saying they were his
best supporters. It got to him that Christians believed David Rockefeller recruited
someone to find a conservative for the radio because there were none. Rush always
denied it but he didn't like the book about him either written w/o his endorsement
giving details about his life.
The former VP of ABC radio and then a free lancer was looking for a conservative host (at Rockefeller's request?) when Rush's station manager in California heard about it and sent him tapes of Rush. The VP went out to interview Rush but drove all around the beltway during rush hour to listen to him to see how he sounded in his car. He liked it and took Rush to NY for an audition and the rest is history. The manager in Sacramento got a nice finders fee.
I can't remember the guy's name but he discovered the likes of Dick Clark and his old
American Bandstand back in the 50s and Dr. Dean Edell plus others in the 90s.
But Rush just didn't like Christians much but his brother David is one.
One thing Rush always says is he was the first conservative on the radio. There were
no Hannity's, O'Reilly's or others at the time.Last edited by AirFlacco; 09-18-2014 at 12:35 PM.

Yup. Christians never hit their wives or beat their children. Wait. Rice and Peterson are Christians.
Tebow wasn't run out because he was Christian. He was a bad QB and was given multiple opportunities. The circus was because if Tebow himself as he made a big deal of his "Christianity" which isn't very Christian. His FOLLOWERS made the circular bigger. There were tons of fans JUST because he was a Christian. Forget that the majority of athletes are pretty damned religious.

Re: LOL - AND Tim Tebow was bad for NFL?
I already said that. I clearly remember comments from Rush not favorable
to Chrstians and Rush joked that even Marta got on him about it.
Rice became a Christian after the elevator attack on Valentine's Day. Link isn't
coming in. Having some big PC probs. None of the pics of anyone's avatars are coming
in including mine not even on face book. Now this link won't come in. Just google Rice become Christian after elevator attack.
None of the Christians I know ever beat their kids, not a single one. Nobody in any of the
churches I belonged to ever went to jail but you never know what goes on behind
closed doors. I'm sure some Christians are in jail. Moses killed a man, King David
got a man killed so he could steal his wife, The Apostle Paul killed Christians before
being converted on the road to Damascus.
Some ministers that called his show believe Rush is a Chrisitan but in this link he
clearly doesn't know scriptures.

Re: LOL - AND Tim Tebow was bad for NFL?
Here he attacked the biggest Christian of them all - the Pope who is the head of the largest church in the
world.
''The Pope has gone beyond Catholicism. It's all political with him."
You'd say that's terrible too but you missed the line in the above link about the blind. Those were the Christians
that believe in the New World Order which is a term dubbed by H. Bush but is a play on words of the Bible verse
that says there will be a new world gov't. The Bible verses are posted in detail It's no wonder you missed it all.
But more attacks on the Church:
RUSH: I hate to say it, folks, the Catholic Church has been kissing the socialist ring since the 1930s, and now it has come back to bite them.
That was in reference to Wade v Roe.
Then there was Rush's attack on Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, two more Christian leaders like the Pope, leaders
of millions of non-Catholic christians. And this with Rush getting fired from TV for his own homophobic remarks about a
QB. Falwell and Robertson were going by what the Bible says about it.
Rush Limbaugh says "Robertson and Falwell Were Wrong".

Rush Limbaugh says "Robertson and Falwell Were Wrong". I never thought I'd see the day where I'd actually think about sending a thank you note to Rush, but it may be time. Limbaugh derides the fundamentalists' recent comments, stating "Suggestions of this kind are one of the reasons why all conservatives get tarred and feathered with this extremist, bigoted, racist, sexist, homophobic label or image that isn't true. The words of Robertson and Falwell are not the words of all conservatives - they are the words of Robertson and Falwell." Is this the beginning of a kindler, gentler Limbaugh?

Um they represent more than the 20M people that listen to Rush every week.
So how many more links do you want?
First you say I didn't prove anything, then you say it's a terrible link but Whatever, I know what I heard. He even joked that Marta got on him about it and Snerdly said did she smack you over the fingers with her ruler and he laughed and said yea. That is as specific as I can make it as are the links of his attacking people of the faith.
You didn't hear it an you won't like anything I said about it so I'm leaving it at that.Last edited by AirFlacco; 09-19-2014 at 12:55 AM.

Oh whoa is the poor oppressed majority. Too bad people can't have morals or be good without a book of fairy tales to guide them, or some imaginary father figure dangling the sword of Damocles over their heads...
