Os blow Jays away for 5 game lead

What great hitting and pitching. The game was close for 4 innings the but dam broke with some clutch hitting and O's broke away and some great base running helped not to mention relief pitching.

Miller, the New LHP looked good in relief again not allowing a run alhtough he gave up a walk.
His fast ball was clocked at 95 MPH and he got a left handed hitter looking on a fast ball that actually broke a litte at the end. Rick Dempsey said after game the hitters do not know how to read that fast ball or sinker. That guy was left handed hitter but even the right handed hitters have trouble.

    O's are 36-21 lately.

    World Series? Maybe?

Re: Os blow Jays away for 5 game lead

The 2-1 win Thursday night in Toronto is conceivably the most important win to date - especially with the AL East title still undecided. This is the type of game that Zach Britton would have dramatically blown a save (as he did earlier against Yankees and Oakland). But, as Rick Dempsey has noted, Zach is learning not to rely too much on his wicked fastball (i.e., keeping the hitters honest). The last 17 Oriole hitters were retired in the game.

If the Blue Jays win instead, they win the series and are TWO games closer than they are right now - not to mention it's a major boost to their confidence in competing with us. Remember, we finish the regular season on the road in Toronto. It's still a long season.
