Re: 175th Overall Pick: John Urschel, OG
Osemele and Yanda are both UFAs after 2015. If Urschel continues to play this well when given opportunities, I could see the Ravens only keeping 1 of KO and Yanda and plugging Urschel in as a bargain starter in 2016 and 2017.
It's WAY too early to say this, but 2016 and 2017 could be a huge opportunity for the Ravens. With the early returns from Urschel, Mosley, Taliaferro, and Campanaro the 2014 draft class could really be swinging into form by then and getting us a lot of cheap production.

Re: 175th Overall Pick: John Urschel, OG
I agree it sure feels like we are trending upward in the 5th round
Along with (2011) McPhee, (2013) Wagner and (2014) Urschel
2012 Asa Jackson
2010 Arthur Jones, David Reed
2006 Dawan Landry, Quinn Sypniewski
2003 Abrayo Franklin, Tony Pashos
Some misses
2007 Troy Smith
2009 Jason Phillips, Davon Drew
2011 have to include Chykie Brown who was taken the pick before McPhee
2013 John Simon
What I also looked at is some other rounds.
I noticed we were missing in the 4th a lot (Urban-14), Simon-13, Christian Thompson and Gino-12, Tandon-11, (priors...Marcus Smith, David Hale...)
We did hit Pitta, Juice and looks like Taliaferroat one point of my life I was exactly Pi years old

Re: 175th Overall Pick: John Urschel, OG
So def too early but say he keeps up his level of play. Who do you resign Yanda or KO? Yanda has been pretty injury free and one of the best RG in the game. But add 2 years and he'll be 32. 35 is the oldest starter in the league. My guess is he retires after this cibtract. MAYBE he comes back on a 2 year deal. So you pay KO, provided he stays healthy and move Urshel over to the right side. But if you want Yanda to retire a Raven than you're gonna have to accept Ursh moving on and starting somewhere else and hoping you land a starter in the 2015 or 2016 draft.

Rxdoxx anything from the 4th and on is a crap shoot. Your hoping for solid depth at best and if you get a starter you're lucky. Trying to judge 4th bs the 5th round and where we're doing better Nd applying it to anything in the future is silly.
