We got a druggie. At least he's one for now.

And just got an obscure Safety.

It's easy to make a draft look bad when you give everything the most negative spin possible.

And your insistence on calling him "Swan" Edwards in literally every single post is beyond childish. Grow up.

Ok. That actually makes sense to me. We sucked on defense in 2012. Those guys you listed, along with Terrence Brooks, are a completely re-worked unit. And we needed one.

Still would like to see some offense in this draft.

No Pro Bowlers drafted since Rice in, 2008 was it?
I'm just not impressed with this draft or drafts from the past few years.
The 2012 draft is interesting. We talk about those guys as disappointments based off this past year. But I think it's rare for a SB champion to get as much of a contribution from its rookies, as the 2012 Ravens did. Osemele was a full-season starter on the O-line, all the way thru the SB. Upshaw started half the games, I guess depending on the offense's set: he was in the rotation all year. Bernard Pierce gained 500 yards in the reg season, and I think he was our leading rusher in the postseason. At least he was in the Indy game. I think Christian Thompson and Asa Jackson got some playing time in the SB as well – might be wrong about that.

My point is, even if no Pro Bowlers emerge, 2012 was a helluva draft for us, and was key to that championship. Maybe Pro Bowlers is not the only way to measure a draft – I'm not sure.

Not sure how obscure the starter on the national champion is.

And one that was rated a second round pick to boot. Total steal.

And arguably the best pure free safety prospect in this draft .

How come he wasn't mentioned in here on so many mocks for 2d round. I kept seeing names like Jimmy Ward and Bitonio and Latimer.

You didn't list him in your last mock for 2d round.

Re: 48th Overall Pick: Tim Jernigan

When they first announced this pick, I wasnt the biggest fan because I thought we would go for Moses. But little did know, Moses wasnt draft until much later, so maybe I bought into Mel and McShays evaluations a little too much.

Jernigan is going to be a beast. Id say look at him as a more polished/productive Art Jones when he came out of SU. And on top of that TJ didnt start until this year at FSU, so i think he might be just scratching the surface...which is scary.

Thank you. Sweet baby Jesus I do not understand his anyone could be upset with this pick. This kid should have gone in the mid twenties, he could be a superstar. Keep it coming Ozzie
