CJ Mosley's injury history (It's long)
Freshman year
- Dislocated Elbow
Sophomore year
- Dislocated hip
Junior year
- Minor surgery on shoulder labrum
Senior year --> pre-draft
- Did not participate in bench at the combine due to an unspecified shoulder injury.
- Teams have concerns over an unspecified knee injury.
That's a laundry list of issues. One thing that concerns me is the dislocations and labrum injury (which keeps the shoulder from dislocating). To me it looks like CJ has bad joints that dislocate easy, although I'm not a doctor. If there are any doctors on this board, is that a thing? That he may have bad joints. I know that if you dislocate something once there is a much greater chance of dislocation, but in general does this guy have bad joints and is prone to dislocating other spots like his knee or ankle?

He's young. Young guys heal quickly.

Re: CJ Mosley's injury history (It's long)
I just posted on the other thread that Scott Garceau mentioned the ton of injuries on his shoulder and hip. Walter football.com gave Ravens a C while Charlie Casserly said Mosley is the steal of the draft. Time will tell but Mosley passed all his physicals.
He's made tons of tackles for Nick in the middle of that defense and Scott said what we've been saying here that Nick's players are worn out before the get to the NFL. It better be different this time.Last edited by AirFlacco; 05-09-2014 at 03:30 PM.

Re: CJ Mosley's injury history (It's long)
He's missed 2 games since 2010...

If you want to play that card.
He would have missed at least 6 weeks if the hip injury wasn't the national championship...
But it's not about that. It's the wear and tear he's already had to go through and whether he will be able to be consistently be in the lineup week after week in the NFL

Re: CJ Mosley's injury history (It's long)
If you can google Mosley's injury history and find out what it is, I'm pretty sure the Ravens knew what it was as well. They have vetted these guys and had them go through all sorts of medical tests, and Mosley passed them in the minds of the Ravens. Time will tell, but I think that's an overblown concern.

Re: CJ Mosley's injury history (It's long)
Scott Garceau said he passed all physicals but as someone posted on the other thread, he
dropped because of all his injuries and durability concerns.

Re: CJ Mosley's injury history (It's long)
I'd really only be concerned if it was a recurring area in the injuries...Elbow, Hip, Shoulder, Knee. Sounds more like the guy has had bad luck than some sort of condition.

You can't ignore the injury history. On the plus side, at least Moseley has no history of stumblestairwellitis.

Don't worry: Ozzie's son is at Alabama and Nick Saban says Mosley is awesome.
No way either of those guys would be biased.
