Who might we pick in round 2 (and round 3)?

    By position-

Safety is devastated. Jimmy Ward was a total reach in round 1 making us look at guys like Ed Reynolds and Terrance Brooks. Probably round 3 for these guys.

OT/OL- On the other hand there should be a good OT/Ol guy available in round two. Guys like CyKo, Tiny Richardson, Bitonio, Jackson, Su'a Filo, Thomas, Yankey and Moses are round 2 guys. Definitely some of these guys will be there in round 2. Richburg and Martin, both centers could play guard for a couple of years then take over at center. Round 3 wil see guys like Mewhort, Fleming, and others will be there in round 3.

RB- Hyde, Hill, Sankey, Mason, etc...we will have our choice of decent RB's in rounds 2,3, 4 and 5.

WR- Lee, Benjamin, Robinson, Richardson, Adams, Matthews...some of these guys will be there in round 2

CB- Atkins, McGill, Phil Gaines, Joyner, Desir, etc are 2nd rounders

We got lots of choices folks, outside of safety. Who you like?

We need to take OT or DB in the 2nd...there are still a ton of WRs left.

Don't be so sure. Everyone will be drafting WR's in round 2, could be a record number even.

And don't sleep on Safety, Dion Bailey is a good possibility.

    Some names to consider:
    Dion Bailey S
    Louis Nix III DT
    Su'a-Filo OG
    Kony Ealy DE
    Morgan Moses OT
    Timmy Jernigan DT
    Marquise Lee WR
    Allen Robinson WR
    Cody Latimer WR
    Jordan Matthews WR
    Troy Niklas TE
    Jace Amaro TE
    Jeremy Hill RB
    Carlos Hyde RB

And I'd be all for that. There are some great DL talents that have fallen into the 2nd round.

some more than others, but if we can land 3 of any of them I'd be happy.

They've got big needs at DE, but looking at what's left they could be looking at a really good deal on an offensive lineman.

Re: Who might we pick in round 2 (and round 3)?

The most intriguing name is easily Marqise Lee. I'd be thrilled to get someone of his talent in the mid-second. I don't expect him to last that long. Allen Robinson is a much more likely option for us, and I'd be pretty excited to bring him in. I'm not crazy about taking any other WR in that spot, given our other needs.

Safety is pretty much out until our comp picks, with Ward gone.

A defensive lineman who slides down like Hegemon or Tuitt would be just fine by me. Not sure what to make of the remaining OLs, they all have some flaws to them, but if we got a competent RT in the second that would be nice.

I'd be extremely disappointed with a RB in the second round, after our big investments in Rice and Pierce. I think they should get one more season, with a better offensive scheme and more competent blocking, before we shove them out the door for a new back. Then again, Rice was a second-rounder and that sure worked out well for us. I wasn't excited with his selection because we already had McGahee; if we took a RB, at least it would mean we show SOME interest in improving our offense this draft.

WRs left: Marqise Lee, Jordan Matthews, Jarvis Landry, Davante Adams, Donte Moncrief, Allen Robinson, Brandon Coleman, Cody Latimer, Jared Abbeederia, Martavis Bryant, Mike Davis.

I think we all like these guys and I saw one tweet that suggested 8 WRs would be selected in the 2nd round. Why not trade down with someone (say 49ers) and pick up an extra 3rd.

I like Terrence Brooks, but someone who I think fits the FS role better is Dion Bailey. With an extra 3rd round pick...we could get Bailey, Jean Baptiste, and Terrance West.

I need to go to sleep

Honestly I think if the Ravens can pick up one of Jean Baptiste, McGill, or Joyner I think they would have a guy who could play FS.

I love the idea of Jean Baptiste or McGill in particular. Both are big guys, both can move. Intriguing IMO

I also like Dantae Johnson (6-2 blazing fast kid NCST), Walt Aikens - Liberty, Jaylen Watkins - Florida and Phillip Gaines out of Rice as other CB options
