I don't think Latimer will last all the way until pick #79, but the rest of your draft seems pretty good. There's a ton of buzz around Morgan Moses these days, and Ward and Niklas are two prospects that we have been on since the Combine.

Nice Mock...to Joe Cool's point Latimer might not be there at 79 and I seriously doubt Ward is available at 48.

Really like to see them double dip at CB....Like Colvin in late 4th or 5th round. Know he tore his ACL but would like to see them redshirt him to extent....prior to the ACL believe he would have been top 75-100 player if not higher.

Love Jones (seems a little low might need to take him at 79) and Sims later on in the draft.
I also might go WR in round 2 and use Watkins as Safety.
Though overall the players are very good picks

I'd love to see someone do a Ravens mock where we land Florida DT Dominique Easley. He's coming off an ACL injury, but he might be ready for the start of the season. I read that Clarence Brooks privately worked out Easley after his pro day.

I usually disregard trade possibilities because they are endless, but your trade seems realistic, and so does your mock. I like your picks too. Good job there aewell... Bc

I was thinking the exact same thing, I would love to see them trade back and select Moses. I think he would step right in and be our RT for the next 6-7 years. The only problem with your trade is I don't think Moses will last till pick 30. If the first 3 tackles (Robinson, Matthews and Lewan) are off the board in the first 15 picks, then I think Moses is the next tackle to come off. I don't see him lasting beyond pick 25.

I guess it depends if you consider Martin as a RT prospect. But Martin and Cyrus are ranked higher at this point.

    Zack Martin - Notre Dame
    Cyrus Kouandjio - Alabama

Re: 2014 Ravens Draft with Trade

Ward likely won't be there at 48
Niklas might not be there at 56
Latimer WON'T be there in the 3rd round
Watkins may not be there at 99

I would love this draft, but I think many of these are hopeful slides which won't come to fruition.

Don't really want Morgan Moses. Switch Latimer and Niklaus. Like both picks but think Latimer is going ahead of Niklaus. Niklaus was unable to run a 40 and there is not a ton of game tape for him as a 1 year starter. Latimer has been talked about as a riser.

I'm 99% sure Ward isn't going to last until the 48th pick, but if the Ravens trade down that far in the first round they ought to be able to jump up to get him if he survives the first round. That might not be a given, though.

No chance Latimer is there at 79 but otherwise I can roll with that. If Lewan and the 2 main CBs are gone Im all for trading down as long as its not completely out of the 1st round. 30 is cutting it a little close but I think Moses would be a solid value pick there.

Ward might also be a stretch at 48 (a stretch in that he probably will be gone) but that would be the steal of the draft if he was still there. I actually saw a couple of mocks that had us taking him at 17.
They hate us..... but they want to BE us. (.... or at least poach all our players/coaches/FO people!) :respect
