I'm pretty sure the NJ justice system and Goodell won't forget about Ray just because someone else broke the law.

Miami PD has confirmed he's under investigation, but didn't say what he was being investigated for.

Here's what the 49ers beat writer says

#49ers receiver Quinton Patton and #Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette also are part of the investigation by Miami Police.

Yep. If this turns into anything, RR will have the chance to sign a plea deal and slip to the back pages, while the media runs with the Kaep story.

He'll still get slammed by Goodell - which (if he's guilty) he should.

Well other than there being no facts about the incident in the article... hard to get too interested in this story.

It's funny to me how there have been guys popping off about Rice and how no one in the league will respect him after hitting a woman, etc. But you never hear anything from the players when there's a rape or sexual assault. Can't recall much about Rapistburger's fiascos being commented on by other players. It's like they all just glance around nervously, and have no comment. It's like their response is "hey now, let's not get too crazy, anybody here could have been charged with that... right?"

So I guess if they "assault" certain parts of the body, that's no big deal. As long as the assault is only committed using, uh, certain particular parts of the man's body.
