If(when) they add depth or a quality RT to the line, through the draft most likely, I think that this offense is going to be one of the best in the NFL.

HA - un-sexy? Ravens are built like a brick house.

Mighty might just lettin' it all hang out like a brick house

    They're stacked and that's a fact

    Ain't holding nothing back

    A brick house

They're the one the only one

    Built like an Amazon

    Theyre together everybody knows

And here's how the story goes

    They knows they got everything

They get a win - man yeah

How can they lose with what they use

    What a winning hand

    They're a brick house.

How good is Daniels at this point? Is he this year's Dallas Clark?

Daniels is only 2 years old than Pitta. It's not like they're signing a guy in his mid 30s

It wouldn't surprise me if Kubiak kept 4 TEs anyway.

From what Torrey said, Mellette might still be a ways away. That would be a signal of Practice Squad year two. That leaves you with Torrey, Steve, Jacoby, Marlon and whoever they draft. That's if they decide to run with 5 WRs.

I've only made it through HOU's opener last year (@ SD), but Daniels looked absolutely fine. Actually looks faster than I thought he would. Before his week 5 injury, he was on pace for a 70 / 800 / 9 season; which would have made him top 6-7'ish at the position (only Graham, Gonzo, Cameron, Julius and Gates would have been clearly ahead of him).

What were Torrey's comments? I hadn't seen anything regarding Mellette...I'd be interested if you have a link or can point me in the right direction.

EDIT: Nevermind...I see the quote regarding Mellette on the previous page now. I don't think that's indicative of him not being available for the season...I just think he wouldn't be ready to go run routes in April.

Dallas Clark was a desperation training camp signing a week or 2 into camp...and got zero interest all last offseason.

There is zero desperation here with this signing...same with Steve Smith and those ridiculous comparisons to the Brandon Stokely signings.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    I should add that 70 / 800 / 9 would have been an anomaly over his previous 3 year average of 50 / 625 / 3.
So if Daniels' stats came back down to Earth over the final 2/3s of 2013 then maybe 60 / 700 / 6 would be a better projection.

That would put him among Jared Cook and Coby Fleener; right in the middle of the pack.
    Or looking at it another way, a mirror image of Pitta's 2012 season: 61 / 669 / 7.

    Two Dennis Pitta's?

If Daniels can stay healthy, this was a solid addition.
