I know absolutely nothing about him...would guess he's just depth, hopefully won't count in our UFA calc.

It's gotta be a ST player/depth guy. He's listed as a SS everywhere I can see, though his Combine profile had him at FS. So I'm assuming played FS in college, SS in the NFL.

He was a UFA, they didn't offer him a contract.

I remember that guy...he was the safety who kept letting Torrey get behind him in that Rams game 3 years ago.
Not sure why we signed him? Special Teams?

According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
