    Doss to the Jags

    Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider 21s
Jaguars sign former Ravens wide receiver Tandon Doss, who wasn't given a restricted tender by Ravens. Good punt returner

Oh man. I didn't even get to say goodbye. If there's one thing we've learned from this, besides that Doss ranks right there with Travis Taylor/Patrick Johnson/Clarence Moore, it's to NEVER let Joe hand pick any more WR's before the draft. :grbac:

    I wish him luck.

Thankful that we don't have to have a bunch of Doss debates this offseason.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    Later Doss.

I had high hopes for you.

Best Doss moment. Returning a TD against Houston this year with Ray running with him down the sideline. Anybody have a GIF of that?

That's about the only thing I'll remember about Tandon Doss.

Ravens get Daryl Smith and Eugene Monroe from Jacksonville, Jags get Tandon Doss from us. Sounds fair to me. :D

We have Asa Jackson for punt return duties, so Jacoby won't be forced to return every single kick.

Geez, no Doss, no Oher. Who am I going to scream at when watching Ravens on TV?

Cheer up - the Ravens may possibly still re-sign "Stone Hands" Dickson.

Jags are quietly having a pretty solid off season.

Personally I think Doss can be a very good 3rd/4th WR & PR in this league. His issue here was as a late 4th rd pick, Ozzie got fans to believe that he could be the answer to our WR problems and could take Quan's place which was not true. I think under different circumstances Doss could really help a team.

Getting cut at the start of the season and then not being tendered at the end might give him pause and he will sharpen his focus in a new environment. It was too little, too late in Baltimore.
