    Jason Campbell signs with Bengals

I think this is good news. We need another QB to push Dalton to the next level.

I don't know whether Campbell can push Dalton to the next level, but I've always liked the guy, even though he has played on teams I didn't care for. I think Campbell has often gotten a raw deal in the past. He should be a good No. 2 for you guys.

    He's not pushing anyone.

Baring injury, Dalton is the starter.

Being he played for Hugh Jackson in Oakland I think he is a perfect fit. I was praying the Bengals would go after him.

I don't mean to say he will start, but he could really help Dalton by example.

I would've liked the Ravens to grab him as I have no faith in Tyrod as anything other than a gimmick QB. He's good insurance, but Dalton is the QB, and he should be. Has he faltered in the postseason? Sure. But he's still young and hasn't hit his ceiling yet, IMO. A lot of the grief he takes is unfair, IMO.

The only example he will provide is how to be lazy.

Exactly. I will never talk smack about Jason F. Campbell again.

Oh, he is physically very talented. And physical talent will show through on occasion. But teaching? Only by counter example.

I've never heard him called lazy so that's new to me. Josh Freeman yes but not Campbell.

At one point that guy went through 4 different systems in 4 years and basically got blown out of DC after Gibbs quit. I think his issue always was slow decision making.

Good move by Cincy. I the Raven had an NFL standard quality backup QB such as Campbell for the last 2 games when Flacco played sore, I have to believe that we would have had a better chance of making the playoffs.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).
