Rice is probably looking at a 6 game suspension if he's found guilty and it doesn't look good. That will kill any kind of come back year.

When Ray Rice goes on a tear of 700 total rushing yards and 0 fumbles in a playoff run to the title, he'll get that pass.

The only reason why I wouldn't give up a sixth for Sprole is, because you know New Orleans is going to cut him. Drew Brees is going to have a fit. Philip Rivers was pissed when they let Sproles go to New Orleans in the first place. He must have been breaking furniture in his house after seeing Sproles' Saints debut. Now, Brees will be breaking furniture, when SPROLES JOINS THE RAVENS!!

Sproles is an average back or a liability off of the track in the Superdome.......he relies on the fast surface for his cuts. Outside, in bad weather or on slow surfaces, he average AT BEST. Pierre Thomas on the other hand is a warrior.....

MINN could use Sproles as a change of pace back, but then you are taking the ball out of the hands of the best RB in the league.

I agree he is a good weather/indoor guy. Put him in the AFCN at 31 years old, I don't think he does much.

Falcons already have Rodgers.
Lions already have Bush.
SD has Woodhead.

If the Cowboys weren't in cap hell he could fit there.
I could see him on the Texans too.

I am sure that Brees isn't happy that Darren appears to be gone, but the Saints overpaid him last contract based on the SB, and saw him underwhelm in Philly and Seattle in the playoffs last season when the screen to him became so predictable that defenses were just waiting on it. With Pierre Thomas, I know they don't want him to go, but they are going to need to put that money on something to replace Marques Colston who is a hugely important in that passing tree when teams take Jimmy Graham away. Its the lesser of two evils for them IMO.

If things go badly next year, Drew Brees maybe next.
