    Dunta Robinson Released

Anyone think he could transition to Free Safety?

    I have no clue personally.

The guy I want that I think would be great transitioning to FS if he's released is Antonio Cromartie. He's long and rangy and could cover outside in the nickel with a healthy web shutting down everything in the slot.

He'll also come relatively cheap being on the wrong side of 30.

He would give the Ravens another tall corner in a pinch along with Jimmy.

Seattle's has revolutionized defense by fielding a defensive backfield that has height, size and skill not seen before. It's similar to when the Ravens had the largest front 7 in league history in 2000. No one could run against them because they had monster DT's, tall DE's and tall and heavy LB's.

Teams had tough times throwing against the Hawks because their 6'0" receivers were smothered against that type of size.

    Long and rangy huh?

I guess that explains his kid situation.

It was surprising the Chiefs signed him to that deal last year. Robinson has looked done for the past 2 years. Even at league minimum I'd pass.
