Another Gun Free Zone victimized...
IT's a tragedy, it sucks.
What's worse, is that it will become one more in a long chain of situations in which the extreme liberal wack-o's find a way to use the victims as puppets to disarm the citizenry.
But the reality is.... that these incidents KEEP HAPPENING, and virtually ALWAYS occur in GFZ's.
Criminals, by definition DO NOT respect rules, laws and regulations. So a GFZ is simply an easy hunting ground. When the citizenry are disarmed we might as well be sitting ducks in a pond in Louisiana.
What we should be learning form these incidents is that GFZ's should be outlawed. That these are some of the most dangerous places to be in America.
Maybe I should move to Texas...

Another Gun Free Zone victimized...
I used to work at The Mall in Columbia for many years as a Security Officer after I got out of basic training.
The Rouse Company used to own the mall but Rouse got bought up by General Growth Properties in 2004.
It's the policy of GGP to ban all firearms. Even if you're permitted to carry, you're not allowed to carry concealed on any of their properties. At one point, they were even asking cops not to carry concealed while off duty.
Totally agree with you about gun free zones. Who knows what the outcome of this would have been had a private citizen been legally allowed to defend themselves.
Maryland, unfortunately, has become one giant gun free zone.Last edited by HoustonRaven; 01-26-2014 at 07:58 AM.

Re: Another Gun Free Zone victimized...
You guys don't understand. If we amend the Constitution and declare the whole country a gun free zone, then magically the 300+ million guns in the country will disappear, and all our gun violence disappears. ;)

Re: Another Gun Free Zone victimized...
Gun was legally purchased in MD, but those who want stricter gun control are pointing out that rifles and shotguns do not have a waiting period like handguns do.
Wanna bet the next piece of gun legislation in Maryland will be to extend the waiting period to include rifles and shotguns?
