I wont go as far to say its the majority like Bmorecareful said, but I agree it does give the responsible gun owners a bad rap. Theres certainly plenty out there.

Im not sure how I would have handled finding that either. 1 Id want to keep it. 2 she proved she (or whoever) shouldnt have it so why return it. The fact that the next renter had to return it rather than she calling the rental company in search of it is even more head scratching.

Edit: I still would have returned it obviously, but i wouldnt have been happy about it.

If that were the case, you'd hear a constant stream of stories like this in states like TX, AZ and VT.

It's the idiotic few, like Mrs. Tannehill, who make headlines and create the false perception.
