Still gets me emotional a year later. The Ravens have treated us to some wild games over the years, and I've watched countless great games over the years involving other teams. But none of them compare to Denver last year. Best game I've ever seen. It had it all.

Last season was so special. Team of Destiny. No matter how many times they got knocked down they got back up. Art Modell passes and they come out and make the Bengals wish they had stayed at home. The day after Torrey losses his brother he has the greatest game of his career and the team rallies around him for a come from behind win. The near mutiny after being thrashed by Houston. 4th and fucking 29. The 3 game skid that got Cam fired. Ray last ride. The Mile high miracle. Defeating the demon of having to go back to the same field you lost a heartbreaker on for a shot to the Superbowl. Having the lights go out while you are rising a wave of momentum in the superbowl. Jimmy Smith emerging on a goal line stand.

We will watch a lot of football. I don't know if we will ever experience a season like that again. No matter what happened they responded. It was special.

All homerism aside, Denver and NE are damn lucky we aren't in the playoffs.

Part of me hopes you're right. I don't know if my heart can take another season of that. Great thread, this is exactly what I needed to watch today. I've been texting back and forth with my nephew in Hawaii all day about the Ravens, most of it was discussion out of our frustration from this past season.
