  1. Re: Rank the Final Four teams according to Dislike/Hate Factor!

    1. Denver - I just hate Peyton Manning and they are the team I would least like to see win the SB. I rooted for Denver when Tim Tebow was winning all those games late in the 4th quarter and that playoff game when they beat Pissburgh but can't stand them now that Peyton is on there

    2. NE - Almost hated as much as Denver but I guess I hate Tom Brady a little less than I hate Peyton Manning

    3. Sea - I don't really dislike their team or their coach but the PEDhawks are definitely suspect.

    4. SF - I don't really dislike the 49ers, Kap or Jimmy Harbaugh like most Raven fans. I did when we played them last year but they earned my respect. They were my pick to win the SB at the beginning of the playoffs so I guess I'm riding with the Niners.

Re: Rank the Final Four teams according to Dislike/Hate Factor!

For the first time in a long time, there is no clear cut favorite for me to root for/against. Even my least favorites are tied at this point but I'll try to put 'em in order.

From most hated to least hated-

1a- Patriots. Their QB whines like a girl and their coach is a cheater.
1b- Seahawks. Pete Carroll is scum. He cheated, then ran away without facing any repercussions. I'm not a fan of USC in any shape, form, or fashion but that guy should be banned from ever coaching again after what he pulled.

2a- 49ers. Really the only thing I don't like about them is their coach, but I've had a mean-on for Harbaugh since he played for us and I saw him ignoring a little girl asking for his autograph. Plus the way he acted last year showed a real lack of class.
2b- Broncos. I'm not from Baltimore so I can't fault Elway for wanting to get away from Irsay. I'd have done the same darned thing. I'm still not over Manning for trying to make Johnny U's death all about him, but he did show a lot of class last year after the divisional game. In a crowded race of douche-bags, Peyton is the least offensive.

I guess I'm cheering for a tie and really good commercials?

Re: Rank the Final Four teams according to Dislike/Hate Factor!

I can't believe it, but this is my list and NE has always been 1A on my hate list after Pitt. Keep in mind, this is for this year. Being a fickle fan, I reserve the right to change it next year.

    1. SF - I'm sorry, but I have just come to hate everything about this team and their coach. They are a bunch of entitled, whiny little bitches. Other than Q, there's nobody I can stand and even he was going too gangsta today. Plus, my girls were both in grad school in SF last year, and one is still finishing up this year, and neither one could ever go out the door in anything Ravens without some tools from SF heaping abuse on them. And they're just females in their 20's for Christ's sake, wanting to wear something from home. As far as Frank Gore, he's a douche too. He was one of the loudest and most vehement babies after last year's SB, saying they were robbed and he knew they were a better team that had no business losing to us. Class all the way. And I respected that organization before this regime from the Montana years in the 80's.

    2. Denver - Again, last year, hearing about the ass whipping we were going to get from the media and their fans in last year's PO's, and then the excuse making as a way to not give the Ravens any credit after we won, as well the beating we did take this year. I am just on full sensory overload with the Peyton stuff. I get it, he's a great QB, came back from neck surgery, set a bunch of records in a loaded offense. In 2 years he'll be retired and they can go back to irrelevance. Still, call me sick, but I would just find it funny if they got bounced again this year and Manning stayed stuck on one ring. And yeah, I still hate Elway for rejecting us too, even if the issue was Irsay and Kush.

    3. NE - Can't believe I'm saying this, but this is the least offensive team they've had in the Brady era to me. I know all the things we all hate about him and Belichik, but I have to give them credit for what they did this year with that depleted roster. Plus, they haven't won anything in a long time and in my mind are clear underdogs vs Denver. Of the 4 teams left they obviously are less talented than Sea and SF and can't stack up to the Bronco's on offense either. Not saying I'm really rooting hard for them, but it wouldn't crush me to see them knock off Denver.

    4. Sea - Can't really muster much love here because I'm no Carroll fan either. I think he's a phony and a deserter who really skated on that mess he left at USC. However, I respect the way they play D (fast, intense, aggressive - remember that?), Lynch is a beast and I like Wilson and the whole little guy story. Also, that city never wins anything and they were royally screwed in the SB against the lucky Steelers. Besides, I need somebody to beat SF and they're up next. So they're my pick.

Re: Rank the Final Four teams according to Dislike/Hate Factor!

    1. New England - Hate everything about this team, including their entitled fans. Although I will say I would love to have Jamie Collins on the Ravens.

    2. San Francisco - My hate for this team is approaching the level for New England's. I hate that whiny bitch Jim Harbaugh, and hate that bicep-kissing, self-absorbed piece of shit Kaepernick equally as much.

    3. Denver - I don't really hate this team or Manning as much as I'm just sick of seeing and hearing about them. For the past 2 years, ever since Manning signed on, we've been hearing about how great they are. Yeah they went 13-3 both years, but that's it. They haven't won shit other than that. Additionally, I'm still pissed that they got that season opener at home against us, when we should have opened at home as Champs.

    4. Seattle - I actually like this team. Love the way they play defense. Don't care too much for Pete Carroll though.

If the Super Bowl is NE vs SF, I may just hang myself. What a nightmare.

Why do so many Ravens fans have to hate any team that's been successful? It's not like a division rival is there. It just sounds like sour grapes. These teams won. We didn't. That's the way it goes in sports.

For me I'm happy to see that defense is going to make it into the Super Bowl. Hopefully those NFC teams show the NFL that defense still sells and shouldn't be ruled out of existence.

Re: Rank the Final Four teams according to Dislike/Hate Factor!

I'll be rooting for the NFC in the Super Bowl no matter what. I always root against the AFC unless the Ravens are playing (obviously!). That said, I don't have any dislike for the Seahawks or Niners. Those teams are who the Ravens used to be, before they became a quasi-finesse team with a leaky defense and pathetic league-worse running game. I'm glad to see that brand of football (elite defense, hard-nosed running game, with play action passing) is still successful despite the fact that Roger Greedell is trying to turn the NFL into the CFL/Arena Football League. I don't understand all the hate for Kaepernick and Jim Harbaugh. Kaepernick is a dynamic young QB with a special skill set, I understand people hating on him for the bicep kiss, but he's a young guy having fun. He brings a unique swagger to the QB position, I love the fact that he has all the tats, etc. He's the epitome of the 21st century quarterback. Then Russell Wilson, he seems like a nice guy, very competitive, just wants to win. Richard Sherman talks a lot of shit, but backs it up on Sundays. The Ravens used to have guys like that, but now they seem to have taken on John Harbaugh bland, Middle Class Midwestern personality.

In terms of the AFC teams, I like what the Patriots are doing on offense, a hard-nosed power running game (mostly out of necessity), but I think they'll have problems when they have to face either of the two NFC teams in the SB. They'll both take away the run early and they don't have the kinda receivers to get loose against their secondary and LBers. As for the Broncos, they're the most disliked team for me. Their fanbase is even more arrogant than New England's (suddenly) because they signed Peyton Manning. When Manning is eliminated from the post-season again and retires, they'll be right back to the Kyle Orton era. They're the most arrogant fanbase in the league for a team that has won absolutely NOTHING.

    1. Patriots, Brady? No m'am.
    2. Broncos, tired of Manning. Tired of Broncos fans still crying about how we got lucky.
    3. 49ers, won't be sad if they take it all.
    4. Seahawks, love that defense.

It has nothing to do with successful teams. The Pats are whiny cheaters. Carroll is a cheater. Harbaugh is a douche-bag. Manning tried to make Johnny U's death all about him.

My favorites at the beginning of the playoffs were the Panthers and Chiefs. Then the Chargers.

We're one of the most successful franchises over the last five years. We don't have to be jealous of anybody, and we're not. We do have a right to hate other teams no matter how successful they may be, or what conference they're in. I'm not a fan of the Eagles because their fans are incredibly dangerous and stupid. Same with Oakland.

Each one of them is evil with a vile fan base. As far as I'm concerned they're 4 of the 6 teams tied for second in the most-loathed-NFL-franchise department along with the Deadskins & the Cowgirls. (The top spot is reserved for the crime syndicate that calls the Three Sewers home.)

FTR anyone who hands either Jim Harbaugh or Pete Carroll Viagra in a low room should be prepared to replace the ceiling.

Next Sunday I'm rooting for two well-placed meteors just the right size to turn a football stadium into a smoking crater. In any event I'll be happy to spend the time productively while those rosters are busy playing themselves into early-onset dementia.

Sorry man it is what it is. Perhaps with a little help from the Ref's who get paid by the NFL. The NFL want the teams out there that will bring the greatest draw. And yes I think the Ref's manipulate things at times. I told my son in the first three minutes that it was going to be a long day for the Panther's yesterday. The 4 teams left were expected to be in the running. Not sorry the Ravens didn't get there. The injuries and O line did us in. Don't get me going on Flacco. But then again the O Line didn't help matters. I'll watch the games and hope the Sea Birds win. It will be their first. Then again I don't hate Manning because he beat us over and over again. Because I'm older I think he's the closest QB to Unitas I ever saw. He's a GREAT. That's why he beat us often. Brady needs Belicheat. Peyton needs no one. So if he wins good for him. Besides it stabs the Irsay's in the heart if he wins!!

Gotta go with this, pretty much sums up my views.

I'm already sick in advance about the upcoming Manning/Brady hype. At this point I'm an NFC fan. Love Seattle's defense. Kind of "meh" on the Niners in general, but Anquan Boldin remains one of my favorite players. If he should happen to get a SB ring for a 2nd straight year, then good for him.

Re: Rank the Final Four teams according to Dislike/Hate Factor!

    Same order as the OP.

    1. New England--Obnoxious QB, obnoxious coach, obnoxious fans, obnoxious owner (I believe he's the one who scuttled the Ravens home opener). Just....obnoxious.
    2. Denver--My dislike for Peyton Manning is strictly on the field, for all the times he beat us. He's actually pretty professional as a player, and beating him last year softened the bitterness towards him. Still, watching him fail (for the most part) in the postseason does invoke the schadenfreude that I find quite hilarious. Plus John Elway just comes off sleezy and slimy whenever I see him. And since no one else will dare say it, I will--I admit it. I felt bad for poor Tim Tebow getting the shaft.
    3. San Francisco--It's quite clear we got the more even keeled Harbaugh brother, and for that we should count ourselves lucky. But I'll root for them over the AFC no matter what...wouldn't mind seeing Q get another ring, even if it wasn't for us.
    4. Seattle--Of the "new class" of quarterbacks (Luck, Wilson, Griffin, Kaepernick), Wilson's definitely my favorite.
