Won't happen.
Some team contacts DeCosta every year for a GM opening and he hasn't left yet.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Eric DeCosta not expected to leave Ravens for Dolphins due to contract and chance to succeed Ozzie Newsome down the road, per sources
Didn't think he was gonna leave. Just reporting some news. Been a dry week"Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

Re: DeCosta Contacted to Interview for Dolphins GM
Bisciotti indicated during the State of the Ravens press conference that if next year didn't go much better, then he would make changes. I wonder if that would be the impetus for Bisciotti to move Ozzie out of the GM job along with Harbaugh as the HC, and move DeCosta into the GM role?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HDAlthough Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

One source indicated that Eric DeCosta hasn't been contacted at this time by the Dolphins, doesn't mean they won't attempt to, though

Re: DeCosta Contacted to Interview for Dolphins GM
Eric has deep family roots here and 3 young children. Given the promises that have been made by the Ravens it is highly unlikely that he takes that job or any other GM job for that matter. He's turned down better jobs than that of the Dolphins.
That said, while he's in Jupiter, FL over the weekend, it wouldn't be a shocker if Stephen Ross puts on a full court press while he's in town.Follow me on Twitter @RSRLombardi

Re: DeCosta Contacted to Interview for Dolphins GM
Stephen Ross wants Tom Gamble as GM. It's all part of his plan to get Jim Harbaugh when his contract is up with the 49ers. Gamble and Harbaugh worked together with the 49ers. Ross missed out on Jim the first time, he doesn't want to miss out again.

This is what really matters...
@jeffzrebiecsun 10m
Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti said 20 months ago that team restructured Eric DeCosta's contract where he's "off the market for a few years.""The Ravens are not taking Jimmy Smith at 26!" -- Me, the day before the 2011 Draft
"On their way to the podium, the Ravens FO is going to collectively step over my dead body and select...Breshad Perriman." -- Me, the day before the 2015 Draft
