Yep, the defense lost 9 guys and were adequate. They'd have been much better with better coaching and Suggs having any type of year. The offense is abysmal and needs major rebuilding, starting with a new OC.

Exactly. A half-decent O-line, a real 2nd-string WR and an OC with a tiny bit of imagination would greatly help him.

Oh well. Can't win every year. It was a still a fun season.

My wish list for 2014:

1. New offensive coordinator and not a good 'old boy retread.
2. Offensive lineman.
3. Linebackers.

I cannot believe that Pittsburgh is still in the playoff race.
Then again KC is resting their starters so I think San Diego should win easily.

Bengals might have been foolish on this one. They could have picked us as an opponent next week and crushed us. The Chargers or Steelers will be much tougher than we would have been.

Boy, I feel bad for Joe. I really do. Beat the hell up, no offensive line, no running game, no offensive coordinator...just a sad season for him. 2014--let's look forward.
