    Playoff? Playoffs?

Alright, I don't see us beating CINCY without a bottle of Viagra because this offense is as limp as I am after taking an ice bath. Its a shame but the signs have been there all year, a little smoke and mirrors and just being lucky has us at 1 game over 500. Just to talk about getting into the playoffs would require a win next week and I can't see how it will happen. Thoughts?:bag:

We are going to get creamed next week. It's a .500 season. What a let down.

If I try to keep positive, I could say that an embarrassing loss at home like this might be just what we need to wake up our coaching staff and call better plays. So in that light, they might be able to light it up against Cincy next week.

Of course, that's IF I believed that this coaching staff could or would learn anything.

I actually tried to talk myself into believing that Minnesota had a chance to beat the Bengals today. The Bengals ain't the same old Bengals at home, that's for sure.

They are what we thought they were, after the first few weeks.

    Very very very meh.

Usually I look at who needs to beat who next week but this game sucked the life out of me. I knew it was over at 14-0. A real kick in nuts, I could feel it when Joe threw late to Torrey and Torrey dropped what should of been an easy TD under normal circumstances for any other team, that would of put us up 7-0 and a different feel to the game. We were never "in" the game.

The Steelers have a better shot at the playoffs than we do.

Just watch. We will lose to Cincy. Reeling Miami loses to the Jets. San Diego gets beat by KC.

    Steelers win and they're in.

Honestly if we lose vrs Cincy and are out of the playoffs then I almost hope Pitt gets in. That team is going nowhere in the playoffs and we then are picking in front of them. Some good WR/TE/OT out there this draft and if watching the Steelers fans run their mouths for a week and then get promptly spanked is what it takes to get a crack at some of that talent before them....so be it.

That said if there is a way we can pick ahead of them without them in.....that's a far more palatable solution.

    This would mean we are

If it's not us, I'm pulling for San Diego. Philip Rivers is a weirdo, but I'd love to see them get in after all the under achieving that happened on Norville Turner's watch.

If I could have any Christmas present I wanted it would Sammy Watkins, Mike Evan or Jace Amaro....any of those three would make me happy .

Easy TD? Far from it. Two things happened on that play. Joe underthrew and Torrey caught deer in the lights. He would have never scored even if he had caught it.

A ravens fan that wishes for a steelers win because of a desire for better draft positioning...LOL
