Re: The Ravens organization is stuck in the past.
So we fired cam, but still use his playbook? Nice way to screw over your new O coordinator. Bad oline, banged up running backs, and a playbook that should have been set on fire last year. Caldwell needs a another year to install his own playbook before he is cast off.

I don't know why you're laughing about something that you can't prove.
It is also probably fundamentally inaccurate.
You could argue that the game plan, both offensively and defensively, was hot garbage...
I can't think of any head coach that has not had input on everything.Last edited by wickedsolo; 12-23-2013 at 02:16 PM.

Re: The Ravens organization is stuck in the past.
To be totally fair, they could have a perfectly fine offense running more or less the same basic system they're using now. Flacco certainly has the skill set to make it work. But if that's what they want to do, they have to make it a point to get other players who fit the same system, namely big physical wide receivers who can use their body to create additional separation and pull in contested passes with decent regularity. Their primary problem is that they don't really get that type of player, and too much of their play design assumes receivers like Torrey or Jacoby are just going to be able to run away from defensive backs all the time.
