Kyle Shannahan at least knows how to design a scheme to the strengths of his players talent/skills. See RGKnee from last year, made a late-round rookie pick into a 1600 yard back with only one legitimate NFL lineman (Williams). He would do wonders with our running game.

When he was the OC in Houston (08-09), Schaub had almost 8,000 yards passing. completed about 67% of his passes and threw 44 touchdowns to 25 interceptions. Schaub missed about 5-6 games in that span as well. Andre Johnson also had over 200 receptions and over 3,000 yards in that time frame. His final season in Houston (09), the Texans were top-5 in passing yards and passing touchdowns. They had no running game, so they were 11th in total points scored.

Sounds good, which is why it won't happen. Harbaugh wants to run a dumbed down offense so that's what we get. Flacco may have one of those careers where people wonder what he really could have done with a creative OC and a few more good players around him.

Look at what he's done with Alfred Morris. Simply amazing the production he got from him and that was all predicated on the how the line played.

I think Steve will have a some input in wanting a change in the OC as well. He has invested a ton of money into Joe and Ray Rice the last 2 years for him not to see the offense grow.

I think change is inevitable and I hope that we have two new coordinators.
