Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens - Patriots Game Prediction Thread
My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens - Patriots Game Prediction Thread
During their current four-game winning streak, the Ravens (AS A TEAM) have been doing an outstanding job employing the following key ingredients for a full sixty minutes:
- Keeping mistakes (turnovers, penalties, bad decisions) to a minimum.
- Keeping their composure no matter what happens.
- Avoiding a breakdown in fundamentals (weather conditions in the Vikings game notwithstanding).
- Tucker hasn't missed a critical field goal.
- No dropped passes on crucial downs.
Even with redzone failures (offensively and defensively), all of the above MUST continue or the season could end quickly.
Have I missed anything?

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens - Patriots Game Prediction Thread
23-20 just like all the other games we play vs them it seems. I only hope we have the 23 but Im not sure about this one. I AM sure that this will be a helluva lot better and exciting game than the one that took our prime time slot.
They hate us..... but they want to BE us. (.... or at least poach all our players/coaches/FO people!) :respect

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens - Patriots Game Prediction Thread
Yes, this won't be like last week. When we get into the redzone today we will score touchdowns, that's all I'm saying. The amount of FGs that week that Tucker had to kick, you would have to be high on crack to believe that the offensive performance against the Lions will beat us today, not going to happen. The offense and Tom know whats on the line, and are licking their chops to pile on points after whats happened the last few years against Baltimore, and they're especially pissed about everyone picking Baltimore, Belichick I've heard has been in their ear about that all week. I ASSURE you will have to score points today to beat the Patriots. That Edelman and Amendola can score in the redzone bullsh*t is a media made myth, yes they can.. if Wes could, then at this point in their careers they damn well can.

We've were 5-1 this season without those guys, and the receiving corps is much better now then it was then. Chemistry and timing has been made, and rapid improvement and development has taken place. Defensively, we played well last week and will play a complete game this week, especially with Aqib Talib being FULLY healthy for the first time in a while.
