I've said it several times before... when Joe goes deep for Torrey, pay close attention to how often Torrey winds up stumbling and flailing in an attempt to get the ball. It's not because of the throw, it's Torrey's struggle to find the ball... to read the ball in the air and adjust his route / stride. Watch other #1 or #2 WRs on the deep ball... I just don't see other top tier WRs do that as much as Torrey does. And I don't say this to suggest he "sucks"... he put a lot of time and effort in to improving his hands, and still has the speed to be a legit weapon in the offense. But he could be even better if he ran his routes and found / read the ball in the air a little better.

He hasn't "sucked," but he runs poor routes and his body control is very inconsistent. It's not insulting him, it's just his skill-set... he's a fast guy who catches the football sometimes, but not a wide receiver. He's a very good #2 but not a #1. I blame coaching in part. They don't seem to be doing much to improve Torrey's technique and they don't use him all that well either.

I think you are going a little over board but Torrey has been shut down by some lackluster corners the last two weeks. During the Vikings game he wasn't even being doubled like we thought he would be.
