Thread: Vintage Brady

    Re: Vintage Brady

If we end up tied with the Fins and the Chargers the record we would all be 9-7 (8-8 too many scenarios... Titans & Steelers are still alive). If the L is to the Lions we advanced... Loss to Pats or Cincy, Fins in.

So win out is 10-6, and we are in.

If we win out we get the 6th seed, unless if the Bengals lose between now and the final game of the season. In that case, the Ravens win the division.

We'd win that tiebreaker which would be head to head.

Now, in 3 and 4 way ties with various teams, things get a lot more complicated and I doubt we'd win any of those.

Correct. If we win out we are in (WC at least, division possible)

Only teams that can finish tied with us at 9-7 are Miami (they go 1-1 over next 2 weeks), and SD (they go 2-0 over next 2 weeks). In that scenario we advance as long as our one loss was to the Lions (we go 2-0 vs AFC), otherwise Dolphins go.

At 8-8 there are crazy possibilities, but the short version is that we cannot get in at 8-8 if Pitt finishes 8-8, as they have permanent tie-breaker over us. We cannot get in at 8-8 in any multi-way ties unless we win one of our AFC games, in which case we get in. We can get in in a simple 8-8 tie with Miami (and Jets) no matter where our losses come from.

Loba, or anyone, please correct me if I am wrong. That was from memory (of where things stood before this week).

Bottom line is we need to win out, or need some real help.

At least Piss helped us out beating Cinci to set the stage. EVen if we lose in DET we can win the div by beating Bungals again.

    Ravens control their own destiny.

Not unless the Bengals lose out if we lose any game going forward.

If it was easy, there'd be thrty-one other Brady-ies, but year after year there aren't, and he is.

Your hatred of Brady is funny, but starting a thread every time he has a bad HALF is a little over kill lol.

    Yup

At 10-6, the Ravens either win the North or the second WC.

Win out, and the Ravens win the division no matter what.
