Would Ravens be interested in Towson St RB Terrence West - 356 yds, 5 TDs last night

Did anyone watch Terrence WEst run for 356 yds and 5 TDs for 9 yds pr carry last night.

Everyone at the water hole was yelling and screaming as Towson beat E. Illiinois in the FCS tournament.

Is West a legiit pro prospect?

Would Ravens be interested in him? Where might he go in the draft. Not even sure if he is in the draft yet.

Catch his high lights here. Either E. Illinois is very very bad or West is very very good.

I think the Ravens have another Towson guy, WR Girard on the
practice squad. Not sure. He had a decent training camp this summer
and I think they hid him with Mellette.

Would Ravens be interested in Towson's RB Terrence West - 358 yds, 5 TDs last night

He's projected to go in the 2015 draft but keep our eye on Towson's Terrence West who single handidly beat E. Illionois 49-39 in the FCS tournament. He gained 358 yds for 5 TDs for 9 yds pr carry.

He's currently ranked #6 of 206 RBs in country and projected at this stage to be drafted in rounds 4-5.

With Rice getting older, does anyone think Ravens would be interested in him?

Here's his high light film as everyone at the water hole was yelling and screaming last night.

    Anyone else watch the game?

Towson WR Gerrard Sheppard was signed to the practice squad in September and I beleive he is still on it. Aaron Mellette, howere, is not on the pratice squad. He was IR'ed.

Not sure about West as a pro prospect. He looks good against that level of competition but that doesn't always translate to the NFL. He sure did look good last night though.

I'll keep following his career (and Towson FB for that matter), but I'm not expecting him to be a top pro pick. Drafted? Probably. But I'd figure he'd be a mid round pick.

That said, he may be a big step for Towson FB being recognized on a national level, which will help get more Towson guys drafted. So far, there have been 4 draft picks of Towson FB players. The most recent was Jermon Bushrod, 4th round to the Saints. I could see him being a 4th or 5th round pick.

West is a legitimate NFL prospect. I have him ranked as a mid-day three guy, but some see him as a late 3rd ROUND prospect. While I think the 6th round is about right, he may go a bit higher.

He'll be lucky to be drafted. If he wants to play in the NFL, he should come out this year. It is a weak year for running backs and he is going to be 23 in January.

Speaking of 5TD performances, I am convinced Pierce's effort against Maryland his last year at Temple was what caused the front office to trade up in the third round to draft him. West will certainly be on our radar when he's draft-eligible.

Yea, Sheppard was his last name. If JJ doesn't come back he might have a chance next year. Whatever, with Mellete, Ravens are looking good at WR for the future with Marlon's continued development.

Some guys from Towson do make it and Bernard Pierce is from little Temple.

Just keep in mind that the Ravens do not have 4th or 5th round draft choices (traded for Eugene Monroe), and comp picks cannot be traded. Check out wicked's post #6, which I happen to agree with... Bc

Right. I think NE and PIss were interested in him too which is why Ozzie traded up.
Then he traded up for Brown last year fearing Houston would draft him. Great foresight by Ozzie. Same with Flacco. He traded way down and then back up when he heard Gruden at Tampa wanted Joe.

Oz always has his hand on the situation.

I'm not gonna argue with you on this but here's a scouting report listing him 6 of 206 RBs in country. I would think someone would want him but great point on the age.

Maybe he should come out early especially in a weak RB class.

It was funny last night. I was sitting at the bar and the screen said he had over 350 yards and I said to the guy next to me, is that the entire offense's yardage or just one guy and he said just one guy and I just shook my head. I know it was the level of competition but, WoW. He had other big games like leading Towson in upsetting U CONN. Check out some of these google links.
