Monday Night Football and nobody cares/Cowboys at Bears

They're gonna retire Ditka's number at halftime. Seriously? Shouldn't this have been done long ago?

Cowboys defense is terrible. We're seeing a good old ass whooping tonight on the cowboys.

So if the Bears win (looking likely), they will be in a tie for first with the Lions. Does this have a psychological impact on the Lions for our game next week? Do they come to play harder because they need to win to keep the division in their sights. Or do they choke under the pressure and/or suffer from a defeatist attitude after this week's events (seems unlikely)?

Has anyone else been listening on NFL Radio? There was an absolutely classic BoomerBlooper about halfway through the 2nd quarter, when the ex-Bengals QB was attempting to say
You know they're trying to get the ball into his hands
but instead it came out close to
You know they're trying to get the hand into his balls
The embarrassment was palpable & judging by the tenor of the subsequent patter Esiason was getting lit up pretty good by the behind-the-scenes guys in his headphones.

Meanwhile I nearly ran the car off the road...

Cowboys take a timeout. Really, they shouldn't prolong this game any longer then needed. No smug shots of jerry jones tonight or did I miss it? Bears look good against the boys. Are the boys that bad?
