Re: The Other Games Thread -- No Ravens Weekend edition
Well today worked out pretty favorable for the ravens. Cincy has Indy and Pitt coming up and will lose one or both of those.

4th down!
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: The Other Games Thread -- No Ravens Weekend edition
well great. I needed 2.5 points more from Jamaal Charles, and now not even OT.

KC could easily finish 10-6 or 9-7. They have 3/4 of their last four on the road.

Re: The Other Games Thread -- No Ravens Weekend edition
Yeah, but a three-way tie between us, Cincy, and Pitt at 9-7, and Pitt advances. I think at this point, with Cincy's win today, we want Cincy to win that one for sure. Especially looking at the Steelers remaining schedule and the possibility Aaron Rodgers might get shelved for the year. I am sure some will disagree, but I think would just as well shoot for the wildcard at this point considering the relative odds.

Re: The Other Games Thread -- No Ravens Weekend edition
Cincy has a tough schedule remaining like us. It will be interesting. We will likely be underdogs in the last 3 games of our season. But we do well in that role. NE is probably going to play even tougher than normal since they will be bitter over last year. I am glad that it is at home. That will be a game where suggs and doom HAVE to show up.

Re: The Other Games Thread -- No Ravens Weekend edition
Great week for the guys in purple. Ravens win, and so many of our playoff rivals (Steelers, Raiders, Titans, Browns, Chargers, Jets, and Bills) lost. Only the Fins won, and are tied with us @ 6- 6, but we have the tie-breaker having beaten them head-to-head. While there's a lot more football to be played, we are officially the 6th seed as of now... Bc

Refs just completely screwed the DC team.
