    Light Rail for tomorrow

Not exactly sure where this should go but, I checked the MTA website and it says it's on a holiday schedule which means 11-7. Well since the game doesn't start until 8:30 and won't probably be over until midnight. I was wondering how they handled the Thanksgiving game 2 years vs the 49ers. I don't want to get stuck downtown. Thanks

I think on gamedays, they usually extend the hours until 1 hour past game ending.

If you're south of town and worried about the Light rail:

Our Roost's bus leaves Bill Batemans in Glen Burnie at 6pm. $18 RT includes beverages coming and going. Tailgate 3 blks from the stadium $10 all you can eat 'n beers are a buck. If that don't whet your whistle you can walk a block to the Fireman's Union Hall. Bus leaves 30 minutes after the game.

PM me or just show up.
    Twenty years of Cheers.

Our lot is behind Bobby's Jazz Bar corner of W. West and S. Paca streets, across the street from Lot M. We feed about a hundred Fans each game. It's a service to our Roost members and our friends - not for profit. All our welcome.

However I made a bit of mistake - we are running the bus but we are not cooking tonight being Thanksgiving. We'll just have beverages and snacks.

The tailgate deal is the same the rest of the season however!

I wonder how many of our brethren read the thread title as "Light RaiN For Tomorrow" & are packing umbrellas? I sure did a double-take...

(FTR game time predictions from weather.com: 37 F at kickoff, dropping to 35 by 11 PM, winds 3-4 mph, prob of precip zero. IOW ideal slobberknocker weather.)

Still not as cold as the night Steelers game a few years back.

Not to be argumentative, but my notion of "ideal slobberknocker weather" is (barely) warm enough that no one has to break slobbercicles off his face mask in order to see. (Apologies if I just ruined anyone's appetite.)

Just for the record the coldest game in Ravens home history had to be the 2001 MNF game postponed after 9/11 to the last game of 2001. Brutally gold, I thought that game was worse than the Redskins game.

I think we all remember the coldest away game ever.

I agree. That game was the most memorable in the shrinkage list.
