    MNF 49'ers vs. Redskins

Figured I'd throw the D.C. name up there before it's outlawed. Anybody else watching this?

And Quan scores as I'm typing. Damn the irony.

Damn, Anquan looked good on that drive. Clutch receptions that we're missing. I miss the back shoulder throws.

Friggin RG III throws a pick just as they're starting to generate a drive. C'mon Man!

    Redskins defense is terrible.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Reminds me of the "Arm Tackling" Bengals of the David Shula years.

What's up with RG III? Is it talent or poor coaching and schemes?

His running was a huge part of what made him such a threat.

Either by design or due to his previous injury, he isn't anywhere near as effective running the ball this year.

He's not a real pocket passer...despite what people said last year, that's not his strength. He's a option QB who thrives with play action. He's just not been that effective.

RG3 needs to learn to protect himself or he's going to need more than a knee brace. I just don't think the guy has the size or the football IQ to be great.

Brilliant thought and I'm glad I didn't have to state it.

Is it just me or have there been an unusual amount of facemasks this year? Called or uncalled.

Tell you, Boldin in this game, I'm definitely missing him. Nice physical catches. Holds on to the ball. All the things we hope our guys can do down the line.

RG3 will not do anything under Shanahan except get hurt.
