The defense dialed up a perfect game today

Dean Pees finally drew up a game plan that worked from start to finish. Our D executed it to perfection. We put pressure on GS for 4 qtrs. Our front 7 had an awesome day, our LBs' played well, and our DBs' were great. A great performance all around.

No offense, this was against a struggling rookie quarterback, who had 4 completions before the last drive in the 4th quarter.

If we can do this against better QB, I will sing praise to Pees like a bird.

I think Dan Peas has always dialed up a good scheme, it just that our D plays lights out for 3+ quarters and then fail to be clutch when it counts the most. Today they executed and dominated for all 4 quarters. Only concern was that other than a fumble recovery TSizzle had another quiet day, no sacks or hurries to my recollection.

Defense has played solid all year, it's our offense that's ineffective. While I'm happy with the win yet again our offense can't punch in more TDs

D played very well, still not sure why doom is going out in coverage

None taken, and I hear ya about GS. Our D has played well as of late (in spurts) but today they put together a 60 minute game that was good against both run and pass. It was pretty much flawless. We'll see how this carries over to the Pittsburg game on Thursday night.

That is certainly true. My frustration lies more with his fourth quarter defense. Pees seems to scale back when we have a lead or when a game is close. Lesser qbs have their ways with us this year (see Jason Campbell and EJ Manuel).

(I do not mean to suggest that we lost majority of our games because of the defense... it is the playcalling philosophy of Pees that leaves much to be desired.)
