A first class organization that is going through a rough transition year.

And honestly, if this is a 'bad' transition year, I'll take it. By the end of tomorrow night, this team could be in the sixth spot in the conference playoff picture.

A team my eagles, redskins, etc fans are jealous of. Really, living in Dc puts things into perspective. I complain about this season and the eagles have never even won a sb :) we are def a spoiled fan base!

This is a team with the Best organization in Football, imho, but searching for Leadership and an Identity....no leaders have really asserted themselves, as of yet!

Consistent.
A down year for the Ravens means a 4-6 record and still having a shot at the playoffs. That's a positive step up for a lot of teams in the NFL."A moron, a rapist, and a Pittsburgh Steeler walk into a bar. He sits down and says, “Hi I’m Ben may I have a drink please?”

Re: Define the Baltimore Ravens identity as an organization, right now
This is an outstanding organization committed to winning.
This year sucks, but the last 18 years have been great...this organization is committed to giving us a classy, hard working and winning team to be proud of.
The Orioles are quite the contrast and make me appreciate our football team even more.

According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Define the Baltimore Ravens identity as an organization, right now
A champion in transition.
I don't know how we'll finish up '13, but as (not when or if) Ozzie makes the tough payroll decisions over the next two seasons, and *if* we draft well, we will be positioned for another 4-6 year run like we're currently experiencing.
The AFC is down this year, so we're still in it, but this is clearly a transition year. And it's so partly by design and partly by misfortune."The Ravens are not taking Jimmy Smith at 26!" -- Me, the day before the 2011 Draft
"On their way to the podium, the Ravens FO is going to collectively step over my dead body and select...Breshad Perriman." -- Me, the day before the 2015 Draft
