Burfict named AFC Defensive Player of Week

Love him or hate him, Vontaze has played his ass off since he's been here. If he was a Raven you would love him. Marvin has made a few subtle comparisons between Burfict and the best player he ever coached in Baltimore. He's only gonna get better according to the coaches.

It's too bad that there isn't an offensive player amongst the Pooties' scheduled opponents with a last name something like Godunov.

Burfict is a dirty player. Cheap shots after the play, yea the league will love him with future donations. Just have to get the refs to call it.

you keep speaking for me... no i wouldnt love him if he were a raven.

Bart Scott made plenty of plays here for us and i thought he was a dumb player that got way too many penaltys too. make 10 good plays and 1 boneheaded one that costs you the game, which one do people remember?

He may mature out of that, but as is, id put up with him, i wouldnt "love" him. I think thats a big difference.

Burfict is a diamond in the rough, but is one of those players that will end up costing you more with a critical postseason penalty or some boneheaded off the field incident than he's worth. He's another Bart Scott; a couple of good years, a lot of dumb penalties and borderline attitude in the locker room.

If you're alluding him to be the next Ray, dream on.

Typically, things pertaining to the AFC North are left in the Ravens 24x7 main forum, but this doesn't really impact or have anything to do with the Ravens at all.
