Re: Drinking: An Irsay Tradition
Yea. Remember Glazer said the buck stops here. That was after he got the Bucs and was a shot at us because none of us wanted him. Hell, we had two groups and then he came flying in as a carpet bagger.
Anyway, after saying that, when Moag took the stadium money off the table 3 teams jumped for it - Browns, Bucs and Cardinals. Moag wanted Art because he was the best owner and had a storied franchise like the Colts.
So Glazer kept calling Moag who refused his calls telling his secretary to say I'm out. Then when Art signed, Glazer was pissed as hell.
Payback was sweet for Moag. :)
The young guys don't even remember Moag, it's all Bisciotti but he wouldn't be here w/o Moag getting us the team. He gave the NFL 30 days to take his package or he was taking it off the table. Brilliant move by new Guv
Glendenning. He did in 1 month what Scaheffer couldn't do
in 8 years. Get us a team.

Re: Drinking: An Irsay Tradition
In his last court fight, the old man's bitch tried to take the team from him but he won but she got the ranch. Jimmy even returned expensive jewelry the old man bought her as power of atty. The old man tried to fire Jimmy but it was too late. He was already deemed mentally incapable of handling his own affairs by the court and Jimmy was his guardian.
That said, the bitch still got two seats in the sky box and I read where JImmy put a partition down the middle of it so he wouldn't have to see her.

I've been getting into Blues since I go into iTunes and don't like any of the new releases. Love North Mississippi Blues and BB King and Billie Holliday.
Check out the Alligator records Blues compilations. Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Junior Wells, Hound Dog Taylor, Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Charlie Musselwhite, Mavis Staples, and my favorite, Delbert McClinton.
Great stuff.

Ok, thanks Ed.
Just got a new iPHone and I'm down loading the old stuff plus some new
tunes from iTunes.
Eric Clapton had some great blues albums and sang with BB King and Bonnie Raitt ain't bad either. Got one of her CDs.

Irsay is at it again. LOL

He's like that guy who just got home from the bar at 2 AM and starts drunk dialing his buddy's or females looking to score..
