Re: Obama Knew Millions Would Lose Coverage
JAB wasn't around when we warned about it in here many times during the debate.
FOX posted a poll that half voters believes he lied.
38% said he didn't know.

For a President it sure seems like he is unaware of a lot of things...

Re: Obama Knew Millions Would Lose Coverage
None of them will pass, or should I say work. So "supporting" is purely political. If the plans will die anyway, you're not really letting (I can't believe I am actually typing the government is letting people keep something or not) people keep there plan. This way is just dies a slower death.
It's not only a reason to hate ACA, it's one of the main reasons. Because it's ACA that has legislated these plans go away.

I've never, never known a president to be immune from economic circumstances at an election as he was in 2012. It all became clear to me -- there was a New York Times story, I think one of their blog posts on the Web back in February. And it basically said via poll data what I just said to you. It said most people disapprove of the Obama agenda. They don't like the direction the country's going. They like him and they think he's great for the country.
And I said, How can that be? Intellectually, how can a majority of people -- and you know they oppose "Obama care" by 55, 60 percent in a number of polls. They are worried about jobs. How in the world can they like him, reelect him and yet disapprove of everything he's doing?
And I came up -- I call it the Limbaugh Theorem. And you hear other people talking about it in the sense that he's a bystander president or he's outside Washington. The way he does this, he never appears to be governing. That's why he's constantly campaigning.
Why is there a campaign going on for "Obama care"? It's already the law of the land. Why is he out campaigning for all this stuff that's already law, it's already going to happen?
And my theory is that Obama has positioned himself as an outsider, not attached to anything that's happening. What he has made happen, he positions himself as opposed to it and against it and fighting for everybody else to overcome what he has done!
And that's one of the reasons why the constant campaign, so he doesn't appear to be governing, so he doesn't appear to be part of Washington,

Re: Obama Knew Millions Would Lose Coverage
You list the reason I hate insurance...
Insurance is the reason I hate the ACA.
I would prefer a system that relies heavily on HSA's, with catastrophic coverage only.
Help me PAY for my ACTUAL healthcare...
Honestly, the biggest problem with the entire industry is the ease of which one can escape payment for HEALTHCARE. Hospitals barely attempt to collect, and other lenders barely if at all pay attention to unpaid medical collections. Treat the debt in a manner more commensurate with Student Loan Debt or Child Support and healthcare will cease it's meteoric rise in cost, perhaps even shrink some in the short-term.

Re: Obama Knew Millions Would Lose Coverage
I hate ObamaCare because I don't do drugs (don't need substance abuse coverage). Wife and I can't have anymore kids (don't need child birth coverage). Voices in my head tell me I'm not crazy (don't need mental health coverage). The rest is already covered in my particularly awesome plan.
I hate ObamaCare and liberals because they tell me I have to spend the money I earn on shit they think is important. Fuck them and their sly wealth-distribution ideas.
I hate ObamaCare and liberals because the entire idea behind socialism is hubris. People who vote democrat believe they know better than I do how I should live my life.
I hate ObamaCare and liberals because theft by any other name is still theft. I give to charity because I want to, not because a bunch of thieves want to steal my money to buy votes.
I hate ObamaCare and liberals because they're pathetic hypocrites. My favorite quote about ObamaCare is "I was for ObamaCare until I found out I had to pay for it."
I hate ObamaCare and liberals because I'm not an idiot."A moron, a rapist, and a Pittsburgh Steeler walk into a bar. He sits down and says, “Hi I’m Ben may I have a drink please?”

despite the notion that liberals = idiots... I can pretty much guarantee you that telling you how to live your life and taking your money is not only a "liberal" thing. your opinions line up with the right so perfectly... good for you, but theyre still taking your money and telling you how to live your life, you just happen to fall in line with the way they are. maybe not an idiot but still a sheep, just of a different herd.
dont like people telling you how to live at all or how to spend your money... libertarian would be the way to go. co-signing for either party under those pretenses seems hypocritical.-JAB

Re: Obama Knew Millions Would Lose Coverage
Isn't there some questions and answers poll floating around the internet that tells you which way you lean politically based on your responses?
