    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    You have to hope that the players approached this in the right way and not emotion charged like last year. If they did that then they'll be gone but I have to believe that Harbaugh gives the players a voice.

    Add Haloti to the list of needing rest. I was concerned earlier in the year with the number of snaps he was getting and it looks like he's worn down already.

    Assuming KO needs a back operation, we need to seriously consider shutting him down and sticking in Shipley, or Yah, or Wagner. Use the bye to get someone up to speed.
