Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Suggs and Dumervil need to take the Packers young OTs to school today. Suggs is matched against a 4th round rookie who's played 4 NFL games. The kid is in over his head. Dumervil is going against a 2nd year 7th round right tackle who has 8 starts. I want to see these guys take over the game.

I agree, but Rodgers is mobile and Ravens play soft in coverage. The Ravens have a great front 7, but the safety play has been holding them back from having a dominant defense. Smith gives up too much space, doesnt backpeddle well. He would be better suited at Safety with plays in front of him. Gb will use screens to take advantage of agressivessness. Idehigbo is lousy. Elam is learning, in time should be solid.

with both their interior LBs out, I can see Rice exploiting the middle of the field on runs and dump offs. I still think it may take 30 points to win this game
