Zimmer may end up in Detroit.

They were stupid to hire him but it's even crazier to fire him so quickly. There's something to be said for stability.

Hope we can pick up Norv

Chud will be relegated to the Browns Head Coach graveyard. If you don't know where it is, just make a left turn at the Browns Quarterback graveyard... Bc

Good God. The Browns are the perfect example of what would happen if reactionary fans ran an NFL organization.

The Browns have a LOT of talent...can't believe they are trashing the coach after one season.

I would be very interested in Chudzinski as OC if he shakes lose. Norv would be a good option too, but I remember how good Chudzinski made Derek Anderson look a few years ago. Flacco is better than Anderson, but they're both rocket-armed QBs who struggle somewhat with the mental aspects of the game.

    It's apparently official.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    Chudzinski out (Browns)
    Shanahan out (Skins)
    Frazier out (Vikings)
    Schiano out (Bucs)
    not even lunchtime yet.

if I owned the Ravens there might be another name on that list after yesterday...

looks like this thread has been superceded by Black Monday / Coach Watch thread on Ravens forum. thx for all the posters, been an interesting ride.
