Damn.... that is foul. I remember the same thing happened to Tommy Maddox a few years ago. You really are crossing the line when you pull a stunt like that. I don't care how bad hes playing..... he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.

Horrible. These people need to go away for a long time. The fact that they didn't harm anyone physically doesn't matter. This type of intimidation is terrifying for a family and makes you afraid to let your kids play outside, or enjoy your own home. I hope Texas has a high level felony classification for stalking.

I was concerned this might happen here w Cundiff after the AFC Championship game.

    From the PFT article:
Matt Schaub may soon be leaving Houston. Right about now, he probably wants to.
What a change in fortune for Mr. Schaub in just one year. Pundits continually rated him above Flacco, now suddenly whackos are going to his house and from the comments it appears there is a groundswell of support to get him out of Houston.

I know Schaub is having real problems right now, but maybe somebody's gonna eventually get a pretty good QB on the cheap.

That's ridiculous. Fan comes to house to tell off quarterback. Quarterback orders fan to leave. Fan won't leave. Fan gets aluminum tee ball bat upside head. Quarterback calls police. Fan gets arrested.

What possible good do they think can come from this? Scare him into playing better? Criticize the player, that's fine but don't bring his family into it or go to his damn house, I hope they are arrested.

They gave him a big ass contract and he's not going anywhere this year. May as well deal with it, sometimes your team has a down year.

This is crossing the line, take your frustrations out on a forum board like the rest of us. Football is his job, to cross that line into their personal lives is just unacceptable. Gotta be scary for the Schaub family. Absolutely rediculous

Its a matter of time before a player gets killed by an angry fan or gambler.

I don't know how many folks were involved, but the ones that were should get locked up and slapped with a restraining order. These idiots aren't typical of the Texans fan base.

    Agreed.

Never had an issue with any Texans fans. They're some of the most welcoming fans in the league.

The crazy world. This makes the real fan look crazy. You should never take the game of football to a personal level like invading a Man's safe haven of his home. Even if you was going there to tell him you support him and got his back. That is a very dangerous line to cross and they are lucky , jail is still a option. It's crazy the dumb and dangerous things some people do. I feel bad for Matt S family. That's a nightmare for them.
