Josh Gordon for a 2nd?
Not that I think the Browns would trade him to a hated rival, but one can hope, right? It looks like they have had discussions with the 49ers about him: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200...rs-trade-talks
Any thoughts on this? Again, the chances are slim to none that the Ravens would even be involved given the dynamic of the situation. He's definitely on the rise and could be a legit No.1 WR if he plays with consistency and is able to stay out of trouble.
If he gets to run underneath Kaepernick's deep balls, that would be a scary propositon for defenses.

Atlanta should be thinking of this trade. SF is about to get Crabtree back, they don't need him

Re: Josh Gordon for a 2nd?
I heard that Crabtree is not expected back until sometime in November. Even when he comes back, it is unlikely that he will be the same player that he was last year, at least initially. Atlanta might think about this trade, but IMO it makes for the 49ers as well. SF has recently blown a first round pick on a WR that was a total bust, so they might think that getting a somewhat proven player for a late second round pick is a good deal.

Re: Josh Gordon for a 2nd?
hey are about to get Manningham back. Crabtree won't be back until at least Nov. And just because Suggs did it, doesn't mean Crabtree will. It's pure speculation. I've seen Gordon drop more big passes than he's caught. But sure! Let Atlanta have him.

I doubt this happens, but if it does, only the Browns would be stupid enough to do it. It would make you wonder what the hell their goals are as an NFL franchise.

Re: Josh Gordon for a 2nd?
I would give up a 3rd for him. If he wasn't already in the substance abuse program i'd give up a 2nd in a heartbeat for him. 22 years old, 6' 3" 225lbs, and pretty cheap, he's a good young player and could really turn into a helluva wr, especially with a qb like Flacco.. pair him up with Torrey and we would be set at receiver for years. Browns won't make that trade to a division rival though.

Re: Josh Gordon for a 2nd?
If we had a fourth round pick, I would say take a chance. But one strike away from a year ban. He got talent and would be a big help to Torrey. But I like the young boys if they can stay healthy. To high of a pick to get him. And cap. But if a trade is made , I'm on the #free Tony G train. I rather get a TE and for hopefully lower round picks.
I'm pissed off for greatness!!

I would give up a third for him. It is basically a 2.5 year rental as I doubt the Ravens would be in a position to give him a long term deal with Smith coming out of his rookie contract the year before. I would do it as he probably keeps clean until he signs the big contract. The wr duo of Smith and Gordon would be amazing on the field.

Flacco will make it happen with what he has. Gorden can go to Atlanta or SF.
