    Gotta love "Monsoon Mike" Zimmer

This is a great article and the closest I have ever seen the Bengals D resemble the 2000 Ravens defense that was led by Marvin Lewis. Marvin promised us a solid defensive effort when he came here. He has delivered by hiring Zimmer. I would love to see Marvin as GM and Zimmer as Head Coach when the time is right.

I have been waiting for 3 years for some team to wise-up and hire Mike Zimmer out of the AFC North division.

The highlights I saw of the Pats game your D looked good. Even though you're a rival, I do enjoy watching Brady get sacked.

Same here. He's probably the most underrated d-coord in the league.

It would crush me to see Zimmer coaching for another team. We flat out love the guy.

Don't know if it would help, but maybe the Bengals make Zimmer an, 'Assistant Head Coach' in addition to D-Coordinator. Pretty sure that's what the Ravens did with Rex when Harbaugh was hired.

Success does that. Look around the league, we've got coaches all over the place, including Lewis.

Mike Smith, Rex Ryan, Mike Pettine, Mike Nolan, Vic Fangio, Marvin Lewis, Jack Del Rio, Chuck Pagano, all of them are at least Coordinator level if not current HC's and some are former HC's. that is just off the top of my head, I am sure there are more.
