He should be starting against packers next week because they will be passing, a lot

With the exception of Huff, Ozzie really did a good job getting some very good players that have obviously helped this defense become dominate again (Canty, Smith, and Doom.)

That's what I I think, barring injury and how Bynes plays. No need to rush him, coming of hernia and other injury. I'm never crazy about rookies starting. Old coaching attage "every rookie you start costs you one game"

Brown is fast man. Him and Smith can cover that entire middle by themselves.

Counting the draft picks, Ozzie did a sensational job rebuilding this D.

    Elam & Brown.
    Smith, Canty, Spears, Doom.
Brandon Williams. Fumble recovery last week, tackle for loss on a screen pass this week.

I thought Huff would be better than he has been, but Elam / Ihedigbo have been a great safety tandem, and the secondary as a whole is excellent (Webb/Smith/Graham). I think by the end of the year, this will be a top-5 D, although the stats won't show it because of the Denver game.

I'm hoping that Brown will play more this week against the Packers. We need his pass coverage ability against them.
