    Giants trading with Carolina

    Giants would get LB Jon Beason.

    That would be HUGE for them.

    I guess so if he can stay healthy. They need Oline help more IMO

    The irony in the move is the Giants elected not to bring back Blackburn this offseason, who played his first eight seasons in New York. Now the Giants could be trading for the guy Blackburn beat out for a job

    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
